The problem

School lunch shouldn't begin with a stressful morning.

Many parents end up cooking and packing lunch hours before their child actually eats it, just to make it to the school run on time. NoonMate lets your family prepare lunch later in the morning — we collect the sealed lunchbox and deliver it to school before the lunch break.

Less early-morning pressure

Skip the 6 a.m. rush to cook, pack, and rush to the school gate before the bell.

Food prepared closer to lunchtime

Cook and pack later in the morning, within your assigned pickup window, instead of hours in advance.

No need to travel to school

No mid-morning dash to drop off a forgotten or freshly made lunchbox — NoonMate handles the trip.

Responsibility notice

Meals are prepared and sealed by parents or guardians. Families remain responsible for ingredients, preparation, allergies, and food suitability. NoonMate is responsible for careful and timely transportation of the sealed lunchbox.

A note on food safety

Home-cooked food that isn't refrigerated or kept hot can develop bacterial growth over time, especially in warm or humid weather. We recommend preparing and sealing lunch as close to the pickup window as possible, avoiding highly perishable items (such as dairy-based gravies, meat, or seafood) in hot weather, and using clean hands and containers while packing. NoonMate moves every lunchbox promptly within the assigned pickup window, but food safety over the full time between preparation and eating remains the preparing family's responsibility.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers — including what we haven't finalised yet.

Does NoonMate prepare the food?

No. Families prepare and seal the lunch at home. NoonMate only collects the sealed lunchbox and delivers it to school.

Does someone need to be at home?

Yes. Someone needs to be available to hand over the sealed, ready lunchbox during your assigned pickup window.

When will the lunchbox be collected?

During an assigned pickup window planned to reach school before the lunch break. Exact windows will be confirmed for your route.

Will the food remain hot?

We don't guarantee the food stays hot in transit. What we do offer is food that's freshly prepared closer to lunchtime than a typical early-morning packed lunch, and careful, timely transport. Because unrefrigerated food can be prone to bacterial growth over time, especially in warm weather, we recommend packing items that travel well and avoiding highly perishable ingredients — see our food safety note in the Safety & Trust section above.

How is each lunchbox identified?

Each lunchbox carries a unique tag linked to your child's name, class, and school so it reaches the right person.

Where will it be handed over at school?

At a single approved handover point agreed with the school. The exact location is confirmed with each partner school.

What happens if my child is absent?

Let us know as early as possible. Detailed absence and cancellation steps will be shared once your pilot route is live.

What happens if a pickup is missed?

Reach out to our support contact right away. A clear escalation process will be shared with every family before their route starts.

Which cities and schools are supported?

None yet — we're validating demand before choosing pilot locations. Joining the interest list helps us decide where to launch first.

How much will the service cost?

Pricing hasn't been finalised. We'll share confirmed pricing before your pilot route launches — joining the list creates no payment obligation.
